Ingredients
16 White Castle Jalapeño Cheeseburgers (recommended) or Cheeseburger Sliders
16 slices ham
16 slices pineapple
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
2 tbsp Tapatio
3 avocados, peeled and pitted
1 jalapeño, diced
1 tbs red onion, minced + 2tbs minced (divided)
1/2 tomato, diced
1 tbsp lime juice ( for Spicy Guac ) + 1 tbsp lime juice ( for habañero relish)
1 small bell pepper, diced
3 habañero peppers, minced
2 tbs cilantro, chopped
1/2 tbs white sugar
salt for taste
Directions

1. Select Sauces and or Salsas to top the Hawaiian Sliders with and make them following individual directions below. Each makes enough to top 3-4 sliders.

 

2. Tapatio BBQ Sauce (Mild Heat) - In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce and 2 tbsp Tapatio until thoroughly combined.

 

3. Spicy Guacamole (Moderate Heat) - In a mixing bowl, mash avocados and 4 dashes of Tapatio with a fork until desired consistency. Stir in jalapeño, onion, tomato and 1 tbsp lime juice. Salt to taste.

 

4. Habañero Relish (High Heat) - In a small bowl combine bell pepper, cilantro, onion, habañero, salt and 1 tbsp lime juice. Stir together all ingredients until mixed thoroughly.

 

5. Heat sliders according to package directions.

 

6. Layer ham and pineapple inside each slider.

 

7. Separately top sliders with Tapatio BBQ Sauce, Spicy Guacamole and Habañero Relish.

 

8. Randomly serve sliders with various toppings to guest for a spicy challenge.
